WOW!!! What an amazing time of fellowship.
Thirty nine men met at Bro. Jack Rodgers home this evening. We had Jack's amazing Dixie Cheesesteak sandwiches. Let me tell you from a northern boy, they were delicious. But that was not the best meal of the evening.
The soul food that Bro. Sammy Mitchell provided was more than amazing. The message "From the Pit to the Palace; One step at a time" spoke of how we as christians expect to always be on the mountain top but God will lead us through valleys. Never fear though because God is always there with us. He spoke of how Joseph went from the pit to the palace by remaining true and faithful to God.
This is what we must do ... remain true to God in all things and follow his leading. Sometimes we will be in the pit but He will be right there with us and eventually if we remain true to Him, He will lead us to the palace. |

The Men's Fellowship for the month of March will be hosted by Jack Rodgers on the 29th at 6:30 pm. You will not want to miss it. If you don't know how to get there just put the address you will be coming from into the fields at the left and we'll show you how. The Bonfires began at Darren Shirah's with a Pig Roast and then we had a great time of fellowship at Elvin Pierces. Last month the cuisine was a Shrimp Boil and this month Jack is going to fix of his famous "Dixie Cheese Steaks." See you there! The best of all is when old and young get together for fellowship around the things of God which are the things that make a man a man! |

If you were not there you really missed a great time of fellowship, sharing and great food. Mike really knows how to put on the feed bag. We had a shrimp boil with coneca sausage and corn. There were rolls, drinks and plenty of deserts.
Gathering around an inner city bon-fire (fire contained in a 55 gal drum cut in half) was a great time. Then having the Bay Bears batting coach give his testimony and bring the devotional was truely uplifting.
